0464807190 2017-03-13 Administrative Inspection No Violations Inspected well on 03/13/2017 at the request of Steve Opritza (DOGRM-Columbus) to confirm the status of the well, which is listed as plugged and abandoned with no registered owner. There are two tank batteries associated with the well, one consisting of 3-100 bbl steel tanks (old) and 1-vertical separator, and the second consisting of 2-100 bbl steel tanks (new), located within an earthen dike. The well is equipped a pump jack with an electric motor, located ~60 from its RBDMS location. No well identification is posted at either tank batteries or the wellhead. These issues were discussed with John Hatfield, with HAD, Inc., who indicated that they use the well domestically for the shop and home on the property and would like to register it. This information will be passed on to Columbus. Will follow-up to ensure proper registration and compliance with all applicable rules. No other problems were noted at the time of the inspection.
