The well spot has been verified by Mallory Stanton with ODNR. There has not been any production reported for this well. The valves are in the off position. The well has been operated by Snyder Oil and Gas. There has been a release of some Oil and or brine to an area of about three feet wide and about 50 feet long. I informed Jeremy Caldwell that maintains the well for Snyder Oil. That cleanup was needed. Mulch was applied to the area. The well needs plugged.
The owner/operator shall submit a written plugging schedule to Inspector Randy Akins at 2207 Reiser Ave. New Philadelphia, Ohio, 44663 within 30 day, per OAC 1501:9-11-05(B), and plug the well within 180 days. The owner/operator will be notified if the plugging schedule is approved or denied. |
