The tank area is ready to backfill with clean dirt. The dirt around the wellhead is also being removed and clean dirt will replace it. The timeline for the cleanup to be completed has passed, but I have extended the timeline due to the weather conditions. |

Upon arrival on location, I witnessed the well was equipped with 2 inch diameter tubing, rods, and a pumping unit ran with an electric motor. The production equipment included a steel 100 barrel tank and 2 steel 50 barrel tanks within an earthen dike. This is a domestic owned well and is supplying gas to the land owner. The polluted area around the tanks had vegetation growing on it and there was an earthen dike built around the production equipment. This compliance notice and complaint can be closed as of 11/1/2018. |
