0431776613 2015-08-11 UrbanProduction Wells No Violations I was on location for a status check. During my inspection, I found the well in production. The well is equipped with a plunger lift assembly. The permit number is written on the rabbit catcher at the well. The tank battery consists of a 100 barrel production tank, a 50 barrel brine tank, and two (2), mechanical separators. A dike surrounds the tanks. An identification sign is posted on the separator. A plug is installed on the load line. The lease road is paved and in good condition. The well shares the tank battery with permits 2-1702 and 2-2235. The well was placed into production prior to House Bill 278.
0668974926 2018-01-29 UrbanProduction Wells No Violations I conducted a compliance notice follow-up for compliance notice 682370216. The well was equipped with a plunger lift assembly and the annulus and flow line was closed. A domestic gas supply plumbed off of the wellhead has closed 2 inch and 1 inch ball valves. No identification was posted at the well and is still needed. The tank battery consisted of two 100 BBL production tanks, two 50 BBL steel brine tanks. Two heater treater separators were also present and had been installed outside of the diked tank battery. Valves on the separator were open and the chart dated 1/4/18 showed production. The oil impacted soil within the diked battery could not be seen due to the standing frozen water within the battery, to see if cleanup efforts have been made. One of the heater tubes on the 100 BBL production tank was still actively leaking. Identification signs have been stenciled onto the right door of the separator with the current owner information. The access road was stable. The tank battery was shared with permits 2-2235 and 2-1702.
0682370216 2016-04-19 UrbanProduction Wells Violations Noted I conducted an inspection on this well. The well is equipped with a plunger lift assembly and the valves on the wellhead are closed. The tank battery consists of two, 100 BBL production tanks, two, 50 BBL brine tanks, and two mechanical separators. The last date on the chart was 2/29/16. There is pooled oil within the tank battery covering half of the inside of the tank battery. Absorbant pads have been placed on top of the pooled oil. A dike surrounds the tanks. The well shares the tank battery with permits 21702 and 22235. Signage needs updated to reflect current ownwership information. The lease road is stable and driveable. The following items need addressed:

1) Clean-up and remove all of the oil in the tank battery and properly dispose of the impacted soil. 2) Add signage to the wellhead. 3) Install a dike around the mechanical separators.

-29--2235. The access road is in good repair. Photos were taken and are available upon request. The tank battery is shared with permit #2-2235 and #2-1702.

Big Sky still needs to: 1) Clean-up and remove all of the oil in the tank battery and properly dispose of the impacted soil. 2) Add signage to the wellhead. 3) Install a dike around the mechanical separators. 4) Properly remove the standing water from the tank battery.

2101000265 2019-02-05 UrbanProduction Wells No Violations I conducted a compliance notice follow-up for compliance notice 682370216, regarding the leak on the 100 BBL heater tube and removal of the impacted soil inside the tank battery. The well was equipped with a plunger lift assembly and not in production, at the time of this inspection. A domestic gas supply plumbed off of the wellhead had a closed ball valve on the 2 inch and 1 inch lines. No identification was posted at the well and is still needed. The tank battery consisted of two 100 BBL production tanks, two 50 BBL steel brine tanks. Two heater treater separators were also present and had been installed outside of the diked tank battery. Valves on the separator were open. The oil impacted soil within the diked battery could not be seen due to the standing frozen water within the battery, and I could not observe if cleanup efforts have been made. One of the heater tubes on the 100 BBL production tank was also covered in frozen ice and I could not see if the leak was still present. Identification signs have been stenciled onto the right door of the separator with the current owner information. The access road was stable. The tank battery was shared with permits 2-2235 and 2-1702.
