1433935629 | 2015-06-09 | Exempt Well Pre Transfer | No Violations | I was on location for an exempt domestic well inspection. During my inspection, I found the well not capable of commercial production. A two inch domestic gas line reduced to one inch comes off of the wells 4.5 inch casing. There is a 100 barrel tank and a mechanical separator associated with the well. An identification sign is posted on the separator. The well is over 200 feet from any inhabited private dwellings and public buildings. I called and spoke with the landowner, Daniel Schwartz. I briefed Mr. Schwartz about his responsibilities for owning an exempt domestic gas well. Mr. Schwartz stated the well is used to supply domestic gas to his residence. Mr. Schwartz owns over 5 acres, on which the well is located. Also, Mr. Schwartz plans to scrap the separator and use the 100 barrel tank when the well is swabbed. |
