1812508674 2019-02-25 Production Wells No Violations I conducted an inspection on this well as a request from Fire Chief Todd Garland involving general safety at the well and tank battery locations. Mr. Garland had received a call from a concerned citizen regarding noise at the well site. The well and tank battery are located on the property of the Labrae baseball field complex and park. Mr. Garland stated that he spoke with someone from J. Well Services while on location. J. Well Services at the time of Mr. Garlands site visit was in the process of bleeding off pressure on the well to conduct maintenace on the well. Mr. Garland had made his concerns known to J. Well Services that the identification was missing at the tank battery location, and requested someone from the company contact him prior to conducting work of this caliber in the future. At the time of this inspection, the well was equipped with a plunger lift assembly. The gate valve on the tubing and the 2 inch flow line valve was closed. There was a 2 inch line reduced to a 1 inch line with regulators and a drip bottle off the 4.5 inch casing. The valve on this line was open. The diked tank battery was comprised of one 100 BBL tank. The tank was fenced and the existing lock on the man door had been cut and was not usuable. There was legible identification posted on the 100 BBL tank. Lease access was shared with the park drive. I contacted Jay Adams from J. Well Services, regarding this site. Mr. Adams informed me that he had spoken with Fire Chief Todd Garland. Mr. Adams stated that the well was used for the concession stand at the park and has been used for this purpose for as long as J. Well has owned the well. The identification had been updated. I requested a new lock be installed on the tank battery man door, due to the close proximity of the tank to the existing ball fields. Mr. Adams stated that a new lock would be installed.
