0039008201 2017-08-21 Final Restoration No Violations I inspected the recently plugged and abandoned Spryn - Shearer # 1 for compliance for Final Restoration designation. The tank battery had been removed and graded. The area was devoid of vegetative growth. The lease road was still evident with rock present. I did not observe erosional features, but they could appear with any precipitation. I spoke with Tim McConaha ( Enervest Operating ) about the situation. Tim replied, that Pulte was to be responsible for final grading and seeding. This area was to be offered as part of a common area. I requested that Tim research and aquire a Landowners Waiver if that was to be the case. This P&Ad well does not meet the criteria for Final Restoration at this time.
0111127086 2017-07-13 Plug / Plug Back No Violations Chipco Well Services (CWS) was the plugging and cementing contractor for the well. A bullhead squeeze was employed to place the Clinton plug. Mix water was 70 F, pH was 7 and Cl was 426 ppm. Chipco mixed a 25 sack cement slurry and displaced it to 3500. The well was shut in for approximately two (2) hours. CWS initially tagged ( depthometer ) the top of the cement plug at 3722. CWS ran 1.5 tubing in the casing to reset the Clinton plug and tagged at 3546. The plug was short approximately 44 of compliance. Chipco mixed and displaced a cement slurry through the interval 3346 to 3536. Cement top was verified by tagging at 3346. Well was shut in overnight.
0189378089 2017-07-25 Annular Disposal No Violations This well was plugged and abandoned on 7/24/2017. No annular disposal was utilized prior to abandonment.
0469921631 2017-07-11 Temporary Abandoned Annular Disposal No Violations I inspected the Spyrn - Shearer # 1 for annular disposal of produced brine and did not find any connection to the annular space on the well head. The tank battery had a 35 barrel poly brine tank for the produced brine. This well should be removed from the TAAD list as plugging operations are started on the well.
0592628858 2018-08-23 Final Restoration No Violations The area of the former wellsite and tank battery do not reflect any surface expression of previous oil and gas activity. There was two (2) new residences located on the parcel which the oil and gas activities were previously conducted. The location of the well was bordered by the new residences and was filled approximately 15 above the previous grade. The area was graded and awaiting for the lawns to be seeded. Pulte Home Builders submitted a Landowner waiver to allow the flow line to remain and later remove if needed. The Landowners waiver also requests for Pulte to complete the restoration to suit their needs. Final Restoration was passed.
0782941000 2018-08-23 Final Restoration No Violations I conducted a Final Restoration inspection to assess the Spryn-Shearer Unit # 1. The area where the well previously existed did not reflect any surface expression of previous oil and gas activity, but was barren due to recent construction. The area was situated between two (2) two recently constructed homes and Pulte Homes was to re-establish the vegetation. I spoke with Tim McConha ( Enervest Operating, 330.903.4782 ) and informed him that a Landowner Waiver was required in order to designate the well as Final Restoration.
0905326400 2017-07-25 Plug / Plug Back No Violations I inspected the 8.625 casing after plugging and found the cement top to be approximately 12 inches down from the top of the casing head. I did not find any indication of leakage. Chipco Well service personnel attached the required identifiction plate to the 8.625 casing during my inspection. No violations.
1032438251 2017-07-17 Plug / Plug Back No Violations I was on location to check the status and level of the cement top after P&A operations were conducted. I found the top of the cement approximately six (6) feet down the 8.625 surface casing. The surface casing was bubbling, a sign of leakage. I spoke with Tim McConaha ( Enervest ) and he said the plugs would be drilled out and reset. Chipco Well Service was rigging up to begin drillout operations.
1184453277 2014-09-24 UrbanProduction Wells No Violations I was on the Spryn - Shearer # 1 location to observe to relocation of the tank battery. Pulte Homes Inc. had bought the property to develop into residences. The site plan indicated that the original tank battery would have to be relocated approximately 100 south of its present position. I informed Pulte Homes that since the well is now in a Urbanized township the new tank battery would have to be reconstructed to the newer standards and conditions. I observed that an eight foot chain link fence, carbon filters, above ground brine storage tank were in place. A new 100 bbl oil tank was installed. All proper spacing between equipment was maintained. I informed EnerVest that locks and flat plugs would be required where warranted. SMC Excavating was the contractor moving the tank battery. They also steamed and removed the old 210 bbl oil tank. The wellhead is operated as a gas lift well. The wellhead will also be fenced and locked. No violations were observed during my inspection.
1497165236 2017-07-11 Plug / Plug Back No Violations I was on location to witness the plugging and abandonment operations of the well. Chipco Well Service had the service rig , half round tank and other equipment on location, but no personnel. Operations were cancelled due to weather conditions per Tim McConaha ( Enervest ). No violations identified during this inspection.
1500910786 2017-07-24 Plug / Plug Back No Violations Chipco Well Service (CWS) lowered 2.375 tubing and tagged the the previous cement plug at 341, which was 9 lower than the calculated height. CWS removed six (6) joints of tubing to 156 and circulated a cement slurry back to surface. The previously installed Bridge Plug held the the cement slurry column static. No violations
