0790227221 2009-02-10 Administrative Inspection No Violations I received a call on 2-6-2009 from Jim Smith and Jody Kaufman (Brownfield Restoration Group, LLC) regarding a potential orphan well or well piping located at 1551 Belden Ave. SE in Canton, Ohio. I was given the GPS coordinates (40.781630, 81.352128) for the location. I located the site on 2-10-2009 and the location was not an orphan well. It was a natural gas transmission line or natural gas sales line with the gas meter removed. I also observed a natural gas regulator, a closed 1 diameter valve, and an open 2 diameter valve. This natural gas line probably supplied the former building that was located on the site. I called Jody Kaufman on 2-11-2009 and informed her of my findings. I suggested that she contact Dominion East Ohio to determine who actually owns the line and if the line is active. I took a new GPS coordinates (40.78167, 81.35236) on the natural gas line. The nearest well to this location is the Trigger #1, permit # 509, that was plugged on 12-16-1950. This former well (GPS coordinates 40.782114, 81.350745) was located approximately 400 to the northeast.
