0141824496 | 2018-07-24 | Plug / Plug Back | No Violations | I was on location with Tim McConaha, Chipco, LLC, and J. Hawk Water hauling to witness plugging operations at this Rose Run Sandstone well. Chipco ran inside the 4.5 production casing with the knife and jars and parted the casing at a depth 2932. Plugs were emplaced across the top of the Big Lime, at the bottom of the 8.625 surface casing, and across the Glacial deposits using the 11.6lb/ft. casing. Good circulation was achieved and maintained in the setting of each plug. See plugging report for more details on this job. No violations. |
1052369066 | 2018-07-30 | Final Restoration | No Violations | Status check inspection of progress toward Final Restoration following the plugging and abandonment of this Rose Run Sandstone well on 7/24/18. My inspection today found that the 210 barrel tank, 50 barrel poly tank, meter run, and all piping has been removed. The dike walls and the entire tank battery area has been graded out and mulched with straw. The trees and brush that surrounded the tank battery have been shoved into a pile to the east of the former tank battery. The pile of debris will need to be removed or waived by the landowner as well as the flow line and lease road on the adjacent property prior to approving Final Restoration. Restoration is due by the end of January 2019. No violations. |

1233979806 | 2018-07-23 | Plug / Plug Back | No Violations | I was on location with Enervest, Chipco, LLC, and J. Hawk Water hauling to witness plugging operations at this Rose Run Sandstone well. The well was bond logged on Friday (7/20/18) and the top of the Trenton Limestone was perforated from 6428-6438 by Appalachian Well Surveys. The log indicated the presence of a two-stage tool in the top of the Queenston Formation and cement behind the 4.5 production casing across the Clinton Sandstone. Due to the isolation behind pipe, it will not be possible to squeeze cement across the Point Pleasant Formation. Chipco, LLC spotted 400 plugs inside the production casing across the Point Pleasant Formation and the Clinton Sandstone using 4.7lb/ft., 2.375 tubing. The tubing was pulled and operations will continue tomorrow. See plugging report for more details on this job. No violations. |

1481791989 | 2018-07-25 | Plug / Plug Back | No Violations | Status check inspection of this location following plugging and abandonment operations that concluded yesterday (7/24/18). My inspection found that the pipe trailer has been removed and the entire area has been rough graded. The pumping unit, walking beam, and horse head remain on location and are disassembled. Final Restoration is due in six (6) months. No violations. |
1532015385 | 2018-07-19 | Plug / Plug Back | No Violations | I was on location to check the status of plugging operations on this Rose Run Sandstone well. Chipco rig #5 pulled 7280 of pumping rods and the downhole pump from the 2.375 tubing. The rods were clean (no paraffin) and they were removed from location. Chipco took apart the flanged wellhead and began pulling the tubing from the hole. I inspected the tank battery to the north with Tim McConaha and found it diked, overgrown, and containing one (1) 210 barrel tank, one (1) 50 barrel poly tank, and a meter run. There was no separator associated with this well and the tank battery for the Moff #1 (PN# 20310) is adjacent to this battery. Tim is going to have their lines marked and make sure that the sales line, tie-in valves are closed. Plugging operations will continue tomorrow. No violations. |
1978574023 | 2018-07-20 | Plug / Plug Back | No Violations | I was on location with Tim McConaha, Chipco, LLC, Appalachian Well Surveys (AWS), and J. Hawk Water hauling to witness plugging operations at this Rose Run Sandstone well. AWS ran a cement bond log (CBL) across the Clinton Sandstone to see if it was cemented during the primary cement job. The CBL indicated a two-stage tool in the top of the Queenston Formation and cement bond between the 4.5 production casing and the Clinton Sandstone. AWS perforated the top of the Trenton Limestone with 10 shots from 6428-6438. Chipco ran the 2.375 tubing to a depth of 7256, rigged up to the tubing. A 400 plug was spotted inside the casing to cover and isolate the Rose Run Sandstone. The tubing was pulled to the Trenton perforations and operations were shut down for the weekend. See plugging report for more details on this job. No violations. |
