1297919562 2015-01-13 Plug / Plug Back No Violations I was on location with J-Well, Petroset Cementing and Beck Energy to witness plugging operations. The well was blown down the previous day and this morning it was found to have pressured back up to 850psi. J-Well opened the 2 ball valve to blow the well down again and the Ravenna Fire Department was notified of the operations. After an hour, the well had laid down and Petroset rigged up and loaded the hole. They then mixed and pumped 10 barrels of cement slurry with 40lbs of cottonseed hulls and bullheaded the plug to 3896 with 62 barrels of water. The plug landed at the perforations at 1200psi and I had them shut the well in until the following morning (1/14/15) to allow the plug to fully set. No violations.
1427378971 2015-01-14 Plug / Plug Back No Violations I was on location to witness plugging operations that began on 1/13/15. J-Well opened the valve on the 4.5 casing and found the well was dead. They ran in the hole with the knife tool and tagged the top of the bottom plug at 3692. They ripped the pipe at 2982 and Petroset Cementing spotted cement plugs across the top of the Big Lime, the Ohio Shale and Berea Sandstone, and the Glacial deposits. Good circulation was achieved on all plugs and cement circulated to surface on the final plug. See plugging report for details on this job. No violations.
1824581348 2015-04-01 Final Restoration No Violations I was on location to inspect the site for final restoration. This well was plugged and abandoned on 1/14/15 and final restoration is due in April. I met with the landowner, Mr. Davis, and inspected the location. The site has been graded and all production equipment has been removed. There is a drip bottle and a domestic gas meter lying on the ground at the back of the location. Mr. Davis said he was going to get rid of the domestic equipment that used to service his garage and did not require Beck Energy to remove the flow line. The lease road was graded and does not require any further removal or maintenance. Mr. Davis said he was going to construct several steel buildings in the immediate vicinity of the plugged well, but they would be 20 from the buried surface casing. Mr. Davis stated that he was satisfied with the reclaim and does not need any other work done to the site. Based on my conversations with the landowner and visual inspection of the area, Final Restoration is approved. No violations.
