0100955835 2016-07-12 Plug / Plug Back No Violations I was on location to check the rig-up status of Chipco Rig #6 to plug and abandon this Rose Run Sandstone well. The rig is on location and they are getting lined up on the west side of the wellhead. Due to space constraints on location, a circulating pit will be dug and lined on the north side of the rig and wellhead. Plugging operations will begin tomorrow (07/13/16). No violations.
1482163265 2016-07-18 Plug / Plug Back No Violations I was on location this morning to check the top plug and approve the cutting off and burial of 8.625 surface casing. My inspection found the top of the plug 7 below grade. The plug was solid and there was no evidence that the plug was leaking. I approved the cutting off of the casing and attaching of the ID plate. The circulating pit has been emptied and closed. No violations.
1496637662 2016-07-13 Plug / Plug Back No Violations I was on location today to witness the spotting of the bottom plug in this Rose Run well. Chipco Rig #6 has spotted tubing at a depth of 7096, 25 above the bottom perforation at 7121. Chipco rigged up to the tubing and conditioned the hole with 80 barrels of water. The hole made 30 barrels of oil and then went to clean salt water prior to spotting the plug. Chipco then mixed and pumped 6.3 barrels of cement slurry and displaced the slurry to 6700 with 26 barrels of water. The tubing was pulled above the cement, reverse circulated, and the well was shut-in. Plugging operations will continue tomorrow (7/14/16). No violations.
1747149344 2016-07-15 Plug / Plug Back No Violations DOGRM Inspector John Fleming was on location today to witness the setting of the Big Lime plug. I arrived on location and witnessed the setting and isolating of the Berea Sandstone/Ohio Shale interval and the glacial deposits. The 4.5 production casing was pulled from the hole and the hole was topped off. Chipco will rig down and move on Monday (7/18/2016) at which time I will check the top plug prior to cutting and burial. See plugging report for full details on this job. No violations.
1848444155 2016-07-14 Plug / Plug Back No Violations I was on location this morning to continue with plugging operations for this Rose Run Sandstone well. Chipco Rig #6, Appalachian Well Surveys (AWS), and J Hawk Water Services conducted operations today. AWS tagged the top of the bottom plug at a depth of 6740 and plugging operations continued. The 4.5 casing was perforated and plugs were set and squeezed under pressure to isolate the Utica/Point Pleasant interval and the Clinton Sandstone. Refer to the plugging report for details on the squeeze jobs. No violations.
