0164915996 2017-06-15 Plug / Plug Back No Violations I was on location this morning with Rusty Morrison (Viking) and Nicks Well Plugging (NWP) to witness plugging operations on this Clinton Sandstone well. The Clinton Sandstone plug was spotted through 1.5 tubing (1.9OD). NWP ran inside the casing with the knife tool and jars and good not get a good collar. The fluid level had dropped to 3100 and it was decided that the bottom plug had been taken by the formation. NWP bullheaded a 30 sack plug with cotton seed hulls and the plug landed and locked up at 450psi at 69 barrels of displacement. Another attempt was made to rip the 4.5 casing and it was decided that the knife needed replacing and operations were discontinued until the following morning (6/16/17). No violations. See plugging report for more details on this job.
0865329487 2017-06-14 Plug / Plug Back No Violations I was on location to check the status of Nicks Well Plugging (NWP) in preparation for plugging operations to take place on this Clinton Sandstone well. NWP is currently rigged up and pulling the pumping rods from the 1.5 ID tubing. Paraffin and fluids are being diverted to a lined, earthen pit to the northeast side of the wellhead. The 4.5 production casing valve is open and emitting low pressure natural gas. The pumping rods were recovered and plugging operations will commence in the morning (6/15/14). No violations.
1497272983 2017-06-12 Production Wells No Violations I conducted a status check inspection of this Clinton Sandstone well prior to the commencement of plugging operations on 6/14/17. The wellhead consists of 8.625 surface casing, 4.5 production casing, and 1.5 (1.9 OD) tubing equipped with pumping rods. The Murphy switch indicates a pressure of 120psi on the tubing and a gauge on the bull plug of the 4.5 casing indicates 250psi but the needle is partially broken and may not be accurate. The flow line valves on the tubing and casing are closed and the flow tee is disconnected and fitted with a bull plug. There is a domestic meter with a line heater plumbed to the flow line that is back feeding domestic gas at this time. The pumping unit is powered by casing head gas and the required ID is posted on the unit. This well produces to a tank battery to the southwest and is shared by the Myers-Alton Unit #1 (PN#23536), the Cummins #2 (PN#23410). This well produces to a 210 barrel tank and a dedicated, horizontal separator. The Cummins and Myers-Alton wells have dedicated, horizontal separators and produce to a 140 barrel tank and 210 barrel tank, respectively. All three (3) wells share a concrete brine vault and the battery is diked. The required ID is posted on the respective tanks. I found no violations at this time.
1497613908 2017-06-16 Plug / Plug Back No Violations I was on location with Rusty Morrison (Viking) and Nicks Well Plugging (NWP) to continue plugging operations on this Clinton Sandstone well. The hole was loaded the previous day and the fluid level held in the hole. NWP ripped the 4.5 production casing (10.5lb/ft.) at a depth of 3050 and two (2) joints of casing were pulled to set the Big Lime plug. Plugs were emplaced across the Big Lime, Berea Sandstone/Ohio Shale interval, and the glacial deposits using the 4.5 casing. See plugging report for more details on this job. No violations.
1882127109 2017-07-31 Final Restoration No Violations This well was plugged and abandoned on 6/15/2017. Final restoration is due by mid-December 2017. My inspection today found the area around the former wellhead and pumping unit has been partially graded and there is a pile of stone and rock, that was once the unit base, still on location. The flow line riser remains and is connected to a domestic drip and meter with a one (1) inch line. I inspected the tank battery which is also the production area for the Cummins #2 (#2341) and the Alton-Myers #1 (#23536). The separator for this well has been removed and the 210 barrel tank remains. I spoke to Rusty Morrison (Viking) last week and he told me that they should have the tank removed in a couple of weeks. He also told me that they are going to continue to supply gas to the landowner and that the domestic tap will remain on this location. I told him that he will need to submit a landowner waiver to leave the flow line, domestic hook-up, and any portion of the lease road in place. I will check back later on restoration progress. I found no violations at this time.
