0704193053 2010-04-22 Production Wells No Violations The Brimfield Fire Department reported a surface oil spill 140 west of the wellhead that affected a small nearby drainage system. The release was reported by a private citizen walking in the area. The fire department was having trouble identifying the well name and the operator. The well was subsequently identified as the Carter Lumber 1-B which is owned and operated by Moore Well. I contacted Jeff Moore who responded with a minihoe, handtools, sorbent materials and personnel. The estimated loss was less than 1/2 bbl. The response included removing a majority of the impacted leaf litter, installing a siphon dam downstream from the affected area and repairing of the flowline. Since the oil affected the waters of the state, Moore notified OEPA-DERR who issued a release number 10004-67-1018. Bart Raye responded with a phone call confirming the issues and agreeing with the response.
1273250255 2010-04-29 Production Wells No Violations The siphon dam is working properly and the majority of the impacted materials have been removed.
2087257888 2017-06-22 UrbanProduction Wells No Violations Status check inspection of this Clinton Sandstone well. The well is equipped with 4.5 casing, 1.5 tubing, and a natural gas powered pumping unit. A gauge on the tubing indicates a pressure of 50psi and the required ID signage is posted. The well produces to a diked tank battery 0.4 miles to the west and contains one (1) 210 barrel tank and one (1) 100 barrel tank. The well produces through a horizontal separator north of the tank battery. The produced gas is run through a vertical separator that is equipped with a five (5) horsepower, electric compressor with a discharge pressure of 130psi. The required ID and signage are posted at the tank battery. The well and production equipment are located in a remote farm field and compliance with urban rules is not required at this time. No violations.
