1261192364 2015-07-06 Non Well No Violations I received a call from Larry Richards concerning this plugged and abandoned oil and gas well. Mr. Richards was considering purchasing a lot in the Kings Ridge subdivision, but County and State mapping applications plotted the well in the middle of this parcel and he was concerned that this would make the lot unsuitable for a home. I researched aerial photos from 1964, 66, 70, & 75, and they all appear to indicate well equipment and activity where the road is now constructed. I met with Larry and brought a casing/line locator to scan the property. I walked the parcel scanning from side to side and front to back. The metal detector did not indicate the presence of casing where plotted on the County and State GIS system. The only readings were detected at concrete pad at the northeast corner of the parcel. The pads purpose was unknown.
