0671440127 | 2018-09-05 | Casing String Witnessed | No Violations | Express Energy Services drilled a 26-inch diameter borehole to 120 feet in depth. Water was encountered during the drilling process. A 20-inch diameter conductor was set on bottom of the borehole at 120 feet. Formation Cementing plumbed up to a 2-inch diameter threaded nipple that was welded on the top plate of the conductor and pumped 200 sacks of class A cement weighing 15.6 pounds per gallon and 40 barrels of fresh water for displacement. Returns were witnessed in the cellar. |
1024546810 | 2018-09-24 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | During my inspection H&P 611 was drilling the 17.5-inch diameter surface borehole at 1300 feet. The 13.375-inch diameter surface casing was evaluated on the pipe racks. The pipe was new weighing 61 pounds per foot. I spoke with Triad Company Man Gary Pridemore and he stated that the surface cement job would likely be tonight at 8:00 p.m. |

2126575061 | 2018-09-24 | Casing String Witnessed | No Violations | The purpose of my inspection was to witness the cementing of the surface casing. H&P Drilling Rig 611 landed 13.375-inch diameter surface casing at 1640 from Kelly bushing within a 17.5-inch diameter borehole. The was 25 feet to the Kelly bushing. During my inspection Schlumberger pumped 30 barrels of gel spacer, 10 barrels of freshwater, and 303 barrels of cement. The cement consisted of 1320 sacks of Class A cement at 15.6 pounds per gallon at 1.19 cubic foot per sack. A sample was pulled and weighed in pressurized mud scales confirming the weight of 15.6 pounds per gallon. The cement was displaced with 243 barrels of fresh water. The plug was landed, pressure was increased 500 pounds per square inch, and held for 5 minutes. 1.5 barrels were bled back to the pump truck and the floats held. Cement returns were witnessed in cellar. |
