0444947010 2018-07-30 Casing String Witnessed No Violations The purpose of my inspection was to witness cement operations on the conductor casing. Lightning Trucking was on location with 1 auger rig, 2 bulk cement trucks, and one pump truck. The borehole was 26 inches in diameter and was drilled to 140 feet in depth. Water was encountered during the drilling process. A 20-inch diameter conductor was set on bottom of the borehole at 140 feet. Lightning Trucking plumbed up to a 2-inch diameter threaded nipple that was welded on the top plate of the conductor and pumped 323 sacks of class A cement weighing 15.6 pounds per gallon and 48 barrels of fresh water for displacement. Returns were witnessed in the cellar.
1536521256 2018-09-09 Casing String Witnessed No Violations The purpose of my inspection was to witness the cementing of the surface casing. H&P Drilling Rig 611 landed 13.375-inch diameter surface casing at 1629 from Kelly bushing within a 17.5-inch diameter borehole. The was 25 feet to the Kelly bushing and 1.8 feet of stick up. During my inspection Schlumberger Cementing rigged up on location. Schlumberger pumped 30 barrels of gel spacer, 10 barrels of freshwater, and 303 barrels of cement. The cement consisted of 1444 sacks of Class A cement at 15.6 pounds per gallon at 1.19 cubic foot per sack. A sample was pulled and weighed in pressurized mud scales confirming the weight of 15.6 pounds per gallon. The cement was displaced with 242 barrels of fresh water. The plug was landed, pressure was increased 500 pounds per square inch, and held for 5 minutes. 1 barrel was bled back to the pump truck and the floats held. Cement returns were witnessed in cellar.
