0022297566 2003-12-17 Final Restoration No Violations Well was plugged w/ fireclay in 1972 per landowner. 8-5/8 was not pulled nor was it cut off below plow depth. Well is leaking gas steadily to atmosphere. Fire clay is down about 4. Well needs to be plugged properly. Pictures upon request.
0212715148 2013-03-26 Orphan No Violations An inspection conducted with Mineral Resources Inspector 3, Mr. Pat Shreve, revealed a well that consisted of 11 diameter drive pipe, and 8.625 surface casing with no wellhead. The inside of the 8.625 casing contained continuous gas bubbling within fluid at the top of casing. Natural gas was not only smelled but also detected with a gas meter, which showed CH4= .05, and O2-= 21.1. The oilfield debris on property consisted of a disconnected section of steel line from the well location. The well was situated on property designated as pasture field with only a tree limb that could be an overhead obstruction for a rig. A GPS reading was obtained for the entry point into the well location.
0871074693 2013-03-26 Orphan No Violations Brent Bear and I went in to location and found well is still gassing profusely. There has been no change. Pictures and coordinates were took. We assessed the location.

1327591077 2012-01-26 Final Restoration No Violations On the day of my inspection I found that the well was plugged, all production equipment was removed, the pit had been back filled, there was no erosion and good vegetation.
1364500052 2012-11-19 Orphan No Violations There is 8.625casing sticking out of ground with 11casing for conductor. The casing is full of water and is gassing profusely. I am on site with Nick Wilder the landowner. This is in regards to complaint #4109.

1737371256 2013-12-03 Orphan No Violations A follow-up inspection revealed that the wellbore condition had remained unchanged since the last inspection. Inside the 8.63 outside diameter (OD) casing, fluid was at the top of the casing with a constant bubbling of gas. Low Range Quantabs were placed in this fluid and showed a chloride reading of 29 ppm (mg/L), a level below the US EPA recommended aesthetic standard of 250 ppm (mg/L) chloride (Cl-). The wellbore was monitored with a gas meter equipped with an automatic pump and filter to show an LEL= 5 and no detection of CH4 or H2S. The well consisted of only 12.25 (OD) conductor with 8.63 (OD)surface casing and the measurements were verified with a caliper. The 8.63 casing was rusted below the collar, but did not contain any leakage of fluid on the backside at this time. The total depth of this well was verified with a depth counter at 5 and the obstruction material resembled fireclay.

The location for a storage tank may have been to the north of this location 25 feet away, in which an 18 diameter area exists. A 9 section of above ground 2 steel also exists to the east of the well location. The property also contains a natural spring south of well location with drainage that flows to the east.

1749252258 2012-11-15 Production Wells No Violations I was stopping in to check well. There was livestock in the area. I stopped up at the landowners house and left a card. I will check back later. Prior inspections from Todd Miller indicate that the well was never plugged correctly. The well was leaking into atmosphere. This may be on Idle Orphan list.
