The Killbarger IDECO Rig #17 drilled a 12 1/4 hole to a TD of 739. The casing shoe depth was 687. Centralizers were not run on the surface casing and the baffle insert was at a depth of 645. The operator encountered hard sandstone at 691-730. The plug was down at 11:57pm with good cement returns. There was a leak between the casing head and the landing joint collar and pressure was held for 10 minutes but it leaked off down to 400 psi. The cement remained at the surface. Jason, with Artex said they will do a 30 minute casing pressure test when they test the BOP tomorrow. 4/21/2013: Heath successfully tested the surface casing at 500 psi for 30 minutes then tested the annular for 15 minutes during the BOP test. |

The trough around the wellhead had production contamination mixed with rain water. The pit was full of production waste and formation fluid and there was pit liner issues on the left side of the pit. I called Joe Schneider with Artex and told him of the issues and he said he would get a water truck out there right away and clean up the problem areas and take care of the pit issues. |
