0896800229 2014-02-11 Production Wells No Violations This was a tank battery inspection. There are two 100 bbl tanks and a 1550 gallon plastic tank. The valves were open on the separator and I could here gas and fluid. There is no meter on the separator. I talked to Dave Crippen and he stated the well was providing house gas to the wellhead to the farm on the property.

1429129240 2015-08-31 Production Wells No Violations Accompanied newly hired Inspector Brian Sefcik to an oil spill at this location. According to Stonebridge Roust Supervisor Jeremy Nutter, the spill occurred around 3:00 pm. Mr. Nutter also stated that the spill was caused by the pumper not fully closing an isolation valve between the 2 100 bbl production tanks, allowing oil to flow into a tank which was already full and overflowing it. The estimated amount of spilled crude oil wass 0.5 bbls. Upon our arrival, cleanup activities were nearly completed and no free product was visible at the surface. Some of the spilled oil leached through a poorly constructed section of the containment dike wall and ponded in a 3 wide x 5 long x 1 deep depression behind the wall. A BT Energy brine truck was used to recover the ponded product and oil absorbent pads were used to soak up the rest. The top 1 of soil was shoveled out of the depression and tank pad and bagged up with the oil absorbent pads for disposal. It was recommended to Stonebridge to re-build the containment dike to SPCC standards and to monitor the affected area over the next couple of weeks for any re-emergence of residual oil.
