Upon inspection, I found the tank battery at top of Gifford road to be completely overgrown with vegetation. There was one 100bbl tank and one 50 bbl steel tank as well as a separator. The separator did not have a meter. There is no identification posted at location of the dike. The well location was down hill and also completely overgrown with vegetation to the point where it is almost impossible to get to the wellhead. There is a disconnected pumpjack and a pile of tubing on the ground. The old wellhead was also lying disconnected on the ground. At some point operator put a swedge with a valve on the 4.5 casing. This valve is connected to a 1 orange plastic line. The valve is open about 3/4 at this time. I also talked to the landowner off of N. Bailey Ridge road and he stated they have not received house gas for over 8 years and that the line is disconnected under his porch. He did not know of any other meters or gas lines associated with this well. I called Dave Crippen and explained the issues and he stated the well was still in court. He said he would contact Stonebridge again to get some answers. Operator must post proper ID. Operator must make well capable of production within 30 days; or plugging is required in 30 days. |

There is a slight gas odor coming from the well. Tank has good but worn identification, laydown separator is open and meter has been removed. There is no dike around the tank and it and separator very overgrown. The lease road has not been used in very long time. Meter with a chart are other Gifford but it says it is for Gifford #2 only. Landowner broke lease last year - they probably do not have a right to produce wells. |
