I had inspected the well before and talked to Dick S. of G-R Contracting, he saying well was not his. The well with pumping unit has the valve from tubing open but lines are cut. One tank with ladder, no identification, on the same side of lease road as well, 2 more 100 bbl tanks across the lease road, setting but not tied in or diked, with separator - no meter or chart. From researching at courthouse, found in Vol. 200, Page 435 an Assignment from John Egnot to G-R Contracting for wells Bruns #1 through #9 , main gas chart also says wells #1-9. This well makes the 9th well on the lease. G-R Contracting needs to add the well to their bond, plug or produce the well, and post correct identification. Lease road very long and rough - is currently in good shape and encourage owner to get in with equipment and plug or produce this well. 8/3/12 - Talked with Dick Saoulzberger and he still contends this is not they well. Says they did work on it but never produced it. I will have Enforcement Coordinator do a legal interpretation and go from there. |

Later signed back to Egnot from Goshen, Inc (?) in 1994 and Egnot sold G-R Contracting all the Berea wells after 1994. I will have to go back and study again. The landowner says G-R operated this well for some time, then decided it wasnt theirs. This well is equipped with a pumping unit and a tank. I have called G-R to see if they will claim this well. They said they will research their paperwork and see what they find. |

The well has a pumping unit on it with rods and 1.5 inch diameter tubing in it. The well does not appear to be in production at this time. After reading other reports on this well from the previous inspectors it appears the well was going to be put in the idle and orphan program by Cindy Vandyke. I will contact her to see if the well was ever put into the program. I was able to reach Cindy Vandyke in regards to the well in question. Cindy remembers doing inspections on the well and stated the well is in the program. Cindy will be passing the information on to her supervisor. |
