0334124866 2005-12-16 Production Wells No Violations Upon inspecting well site request from Central Office found well to be idle no I.D. posted, well is equipped with 2-100 bbl tanks no dike in place, pumpjack rods tubing ,separator, noted that well has not produced in quite sometime also noted several erosion issues on site.
0360647296 2015-03-31 Production Wells Violations Noted Upon inspection, I found a dike with two 100bbl tanks. One tank was empty and the other was half full. The bottoms of the tanks were rusted and are leaking brine and oil. The area of contamination is 50 by 5 downslope from the tank battery. There is a large scald area on the other side of the tank which appears to have been a pit and the flow lines and separator have been pushed over the side. None of the equipment is hooked up for production. The well is equipped with a pumpjack and is overgrown with vegetation. There is an old electric box next to the well. The well consists of 8 5/8 casing, 4.5 production, rods and tubing. Inspector Dave Ball had a Chiefs Order issued on the well back in 2006. I called the phone number listed for the owner of the well and it was no longer in service. The operator must properly remove and restore contaminated areas and plug the well within 180 days.
0417329299 2017-02-27 Administrative Inspection No Violations A previous inspection from Inspector Jake Glasscock was mislabeled to this well. I was out at this well not to long ago and found there to be no well at the location and this well is believed to have been plugged. Where the well should be now has a small horse arena over it that the landowner put in. The violations on this well have been resolved due to it being believed to have been plugged and abandoned.
1017599344 2015-02-05 Production Wells No Violations I was asked by the landowner, Josh Long, to inspect a well on the back of his property. He stated the well has not been pumped in over 20 years and that the tanks were leaking brine out into his field. Upon inspection I found a dike with two 100bbl tanks. One tank was empty and the other was half full. The bottoms of the tanks were rusted and have been leaking brine. The areas of contamination is 50 by 5 downslope from the tank battery. There is a large scald area on the other side of the tank which appears to have been a pit and the flow lines and separator have been pushed over the side. None of the equipment is hooked up for production. The well is equipped with a pumpjack and is overgrown with vegetaion. There is an old electric box next to the well. The well consists of 8 5/8 casing, 4.5 production, rods and tubing. Inspector Dave Ball had a Chiefs Order issued on the well back in 2006. I will refer the well to the I & O program inspector Cindy VanDyke.
1465238279 2016-06-06 Field Inspected, Well Not Found No Violations My goal was to find this well today and I did not find it. I talked to the landowner, Dixie Hart, and she said it was in the horse pen, which my GPS reading of N 39.62652, W -81.65866 placed it. She said it had been covered up for 35+ years and was below ground level. Since this is a horse riding ring, there was no indication on the surface to indicate it might have once been there. There is also no record of it being plugged. I looked all around the barn and did not find any other well or evidence of a well. This GPS location places it right where well #115-21246 should have been so I will have to assume it was plugged.
1904918327 2017-02-17 Field Inspected, Well Not Found No Violations I was unable to locate this well at the time of inspection. Josh Lang said that this well was buried in the middle of the horse arena next to the barn that his neighbor owns. He said they tried digging it up and were unable to find anything when they did this.
