0377761579 2017-06-02 Production Wells No Violations I am accompanied by Dan Goins on a follow up inspection with idle & orphan inspector Cindy Vandyke to refer the well to the idle & orphan program.
1496761121 2017-06-02 Orphan No Violations My inspection today found this well idle and open to the atmosphere. The well has 7.25 inch casing with a 4-port wellhead, one port of which is open. The mud anchor is suspended above the wellhead with a short piece of rod perpendicular to and supporting the anchor in the well. There is @ 600 feet of 2.375 inch tubing and rods lying next to this well. Previous pictures by J. Glascock, Inspector, show there was a pumping unit on the well in 2015 but it has been removed. The well is not leaking. This well lies in a hay meadow and is incapable of producing at this time. The access road into this well is about three-quarters mile long and very rutted - not travelable with a pick-up truck. Pictures taken, SEM is 73.
1497466557 2017-06-13 Administrative Inspection No Violations I spoke with Mrs. Erwin today at 304-873-1885 and she was concerned that we would be plugging these wells soon, which she did not want. She explained that they had bought the property for her boys to hunt on and she didnt want the land disturbed. I explained that this was only the first step towards getting the wells in the orphan well program and that it would probably be several years because the wells were plugged because they had scored very low on the priority list. She wanted to know where these wells were and I explained how to go on the Oil and Gas Well Locator to find a map that showed where the wells were. She also wanted to know the name and address of the company that was claiming an active lease on the property, which I provided her with. She was agreeable after we talked and I believe she will sign the Right of Entry.
1596663546 2015-05-07 Orphan No Violations Well had pumping unit and old well head. There was 2that was pulled out with Kilbarger rig that totaled 555with mud anchor. All rods and tubing were pulled and well was getting plugged by Doug Kitchen but this well was not owned by Doug Kitchen. Pumping unit was removed and taken off of site. This well will be filed as idle and orphan.
1603795159 2017-06-02 Orphan No Violations Accompanied Eric Conrad on follow up inspection with I&O Inspector Cindy VanDyke.
1736682047 2015-10-08 Orphan No Violations On my inspection today I was accompanied by Inspector Shreve. When we arrived on location we found the well to be located at the top of the hill in a clearing. The well has 6 5/8 casing, has had about 555 of tubing pulled from the hole and is laying next to the well head, and is incapable of production. Inspector Shreve and I will be in contact with Inspector VanDyke on taking further action with this well.
