1360690949 2013-02-11 Production Wells Violations Noted The pumping unit was in operation at the time of inspection. The stuffing box had leaked in the past and released oil onto the ground. An area roughly 3 x 60 had been contaminated. Absorbent materials had already been thrown down to absorb some of the material. A large area (3300 sq./ft) below the tank battery has been scalded and is void of vegetative cover. There was no fluid in the dike, no evidence of the dike failing, and no evidence of brine leaking in the dike however. Any contaminated soils or materials shall be removed and disposed of properly. Affected areas shall be seeded and mulched and steps shall be taken to encourage vegetative cover.

1509544130 2017-11-01 Production Wells Violations Noted Inspection of this well brought me to the tank battery first. The tank battery consists of 2-100 barrel steel tanks, a vertical separator with a chart and a drip. There is oily substances inside the dike and from the streaks of oil running down the tank would appear as though one of the tanks had overflowed recently. There is a scald that runs along the outside of the northern side of the dike downslope. This scald extends to the northwest for approximately 70. I field tested the pooled water in the scalded area with high range Quantabs (lot # 6155). These strips maxed out at 8.8 which is 6477 PPM of chlorides. The oily substances inside the dike and the scald will need remediated properly. Pictures were taken to corroborate my report. I spoke with Gene Huck on the phone around 10:11 am and he told me he would send someone down to take care of it.
