The well is located ~3 below ground level in a partial stone vault. No wellhead was evident, although it may have been torn off during excavation. The well consists of an open-ended piece of ~5 casing, and it is leaking gas to surface. The well is located ~15 from the neighboring house and ~25 from the home on the landowners property. Advised landower to install vent over the well ~12-15 up into the air to allow the well to vent gas. Also advised landowner to apply for the orphan well program. |

Well is 33 North of the Bonds property home and 4 off the property line located on the North side. There is an overhanging Osage Orange tree that originates on the neighboring property to the North. The neighboring property is 9918 Jaquay Road, Parcel# 12-00-061-000-046 belonging to Jan S. Kihle. Eight (8) additional photos taken. Mr. Bonds wants this leaking gas well to make application to the Orphan well Plugging Program. |
