| 1477493353 | 2016-10-20 | Production Wells | Violations Noted | I conducted a file review of the Division RBDMS data base and found that well was permitted on 08-10--04-1980 to approximately 195. A compliance inspection was conducted on 10-20-2016. I met with the current landowner Mr. Kyle Ross. He showed me the well casing to the south of a pond behind the address. This well was drilled and is configured to supply natural gas to the residence. I spoke with Mrs. Hack about the well she stated that the well had been disconnected from the residence several years ago. I explained that she is responsible for the plugging of this well since it not being used for domestic gas.
Since this well is currently incapable of production. The well owner/operator shall submit a written plugging schedule to Norburt Lowder at 3575 Forest Lake Drive, Suite 150, Uniontown, Ohio 44685-8116 within 30 days of receipt of this letter per OAC 1501:9-11-05(B), and plug the well within 180 days. The well owner/operator will be notified if the plugging schedule is approved or denied. |
