0219959691 2012-03-12 Production Wells No Violations At 9:49 AM, the Division received a call from Mr. Tim McConahey (Sp?) with Enervest Operating stating that they found a leak on the Nunn #3 oil tank at 9:15 AM with no impact outside the earthen dike. The pumper, Mr. Mark McConahey (sp?) would state by telephone that he was at the location and the 210 bbl tank did contain a hole on the side at top on the Hannah Unit #3 and not the Nunn #3. Further stating that this actually was not a spill. Arrived at location and witnessed King Petroleums equipment on location to perform cleanup. King Petroleum representative stated they were prepared for spill cleanup, but immediately discovered this was not the case. An earthen dike with a gravel bottom surrounded the 210 bbl tank. Two holes were dug within this earthen dike to allow for oil flushing, settlement and removal by vacuum hose on water truck. At the time of this inspection, the fluid within the hole(s) contained a sheen, but there were no observed pockets of oil inside the earthen dike or any impact outside of this containment area. King Petroleum stated that not much oil had been observed or pumped and will also be returning tomorrow to perform additional cleanup. Note: Rainfall event today and expected this evening. An inspection of Lobdell Creek located below this tank battery was also conducted and showed no impact.
