0459260467 | 2014-08-13 | UrbanProduction Wells | No Violations | I inspected this producing unit as part of routine inspection activity. The well was completed in 03/10/2005. The unit is producing and production reports are current. Elements of the well consist of a production wellhead with standard valve assembly and pump jack system and aboveground storage tank (AST) battery. The wellhead and surrounding area are free of signs of leaks or other impacts. The wellhead is located across from the Lake Metro Parks Pleasant Valley Park between Pleasant Valley Road and the Chagrin River. The area surround the wellhead and battery is wooded. Access to the wellhead is via a dedicated gravel access road which travels north from Pleasant Valley Road, and passes the well in 300 before looping back to the main road. The battery is located south of Pleasant Valley Road via a similar gravel access road which also accesses the Metro Park parking. The battery is comprised of 1 steel 100-barrel production tank, 1 100-barrel steel brine tank, and separator unit. Spacing from well to battery, and spacing of elements within the battery meet regulations. The load-outs are bull-plugged. The interior portion of the battery is overgrown with vegetation. I did not observe any signs or evidence of leakage, spills, or problems. Surface drainage from the area is towards the Chagrin River, 400 feet north. I did not observe any gully formation or other surface drainage erosional deficits. The ID placards at the wellhead and battery are in good condition. I notified Alliance about the vegetation overgrowth in the battery. |

0753357306 | 2016-03-07 | UrbanProduction Wells | No Violations | I inspected this well as part of routine inspection activity. I observed the following elements: a wellhead with electrical pump jack system in a chain-link enclosure and accessed via a short, dedicated, unpaved access road that enters from Pleasant Valley Road, a battery comprised of two, 100-barrel, steel tanks, and separator in a chain-link enclosure, accessed from a separate, unpaved access road on the south side of Pleasant Valley Road. The well ID signage was present. Load-line valves were plugged and locked. Secondary containment was intact. Tank lids were closed and secure. The enclosure gates were locked. At the time of this inspection, I noted the following: some oil leakage had occurred from the stuffing box causing some minor staining to the surrounding well structure. I also noted some oil leakage from the 3-inch cross-over line at the tank battery had occurred. The system was otherwise free from problems. I contacted Alliance Supervisor Matt Postlethwaite and advised him about the need for maintenance at the stuffing box and cross-over line. |

1511987940 | 2017-11-29 | UrbanProduction Wells | No Violations | I inspected this well as part of routine inspection activity. The well and battery are located on a largely undeveloped parcel. At the time of this inspection, I found the following: a wellhead pump-jack unit and associated battery in separate chain-link enclosures. The fittings and connections were secure and free from leakage or problems. Fittings and connections at the battery were secure. The load-lines were plugged and locked. ID signage was present and current. The secondary containment was intact with no signs of leakage, spills, or problems. Oil leakage that I had noted during a previous inspection at the stuffing box and the 3-inch cross-over line was remedied. The shared-use access road was in good condition. Production reports along with insurance and bonding were current. |
