0100354451 | 2017-09-27 | UrbanProduction Wells | No Violations | I inspected this well as part of routine inspection activity. The wellhead is located in an otherwise undeveloped farm field, and had become completely enveloped in tall grasses and other vegetation. The flow-line connection was closed. There was no other associated production equipment present. According to production documentation, there has not been active production from the well since 2011. I met with the landowner who indicated that the wells have been idle with no active domestic connections. Dave Harker has pledged to continue making progress on plugging idle wells. |
0286908008 | 2012-09-05 | Production Wells | No Violations | I observed the wellhead to be located one-eighth of a mile north of Cunningham Road, in an open field. The wellhead consists of vertical casing and production tubing. There is no pump or plunger lift device. I did not observe any evidence of gas or oil leakage. There is no signage or identification at the wellhead. The area immediately around the well is overgrown with weeds. The wellhead is not enclosed or fenced. I could not locate the associated tank battery or other production appurtenances. I contacted Dave Harker on 09/27/2012. He indicated that repairs are being made to the unit. They are waiting for parts. |
0946588114 | 2016-12-28 | UrbanProduction Wells | No Violations | I inspected this producing well as part of routine inspection activity. The well is located in an open portion of an otherwise mostly wooded parcel. At the time of my inspection, I noted the following: a wellhead with plunger-lift system. The fittings and connections at the wellhead were aged but secure and free from leakage. The flowline valve was closed. I contacted Dave Harker of Excalibur Exploration to discuss future plans for returning the well to production or plugging. A response is pending at the time of this inspection. |
1485872687 | 2016-12-28 | UrbanProduction Wells | No Violations | I inspected this well location as pert of routine inspection activity. At the time of this inspection, the well was located in clearing within an otherwise partially wooded parcel. The wellhead was comprised of 8.625-inch surface casing and 4.5-inch casing with flow-line connection that was closed. There was no other production appurtenances or equipment, no active low-line or sales line connections, and no tank battery. I contacted Dave Harker with Excalibur Exploration, Inc. (Excalibur) to inquire about the future plans for the well. Dave indicated that Excalibur is taking steps to plug idle wells in an incremental fashion, and this well is slated to be plugged, or otherwise sold to the landowner, as funds permit. |
