1546612396 | 2019-01-04 | Casing String Witnessed | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I was accompanied by inspector Jeff Adams. We witnessed Precision had augered a 36 inch diameter hole to 98 feet and ran 100 feet of 30 inch diameter conductor casing, weighing 118 lb/ft. Petroset was onsite with 315 sacks of class A cement weighing 15.6 ppg and a yield of 1.18. Cement additives include .5 lb/sack celloflake and 2% Cacl. 50% excess ran in open hole. Cement displaced with 73 barrels of fresh water. 8 barrels of cement returned to surface. |
1546620617 | 2019-01-04 | Casing String Witnessed | No Violations | On the day of my inspection, accompanied by ODNR Inspector Dylan Pendleton, I witnessed Precision Drilling had augured a 36 inch diameter hole to 98 feet. 100 feet of 30 inch diameter conductor casing was run. Petroset was onsite with 315 sacks of class A cement. Cement weighed with mudscale at 15.6 ppg and yield of 1.18. 50 percent excess ran. Cement was displaced with 66 barrels of fresh water. 8 barrels of cement returned to surface. |
1549549548 | 2019-03-27 | Completion Testing | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I witnessed FracTech frac crew on location. Identified myself to company man Malcolm Trahan and Bill Pugh. They are currently performing a zipper frac on the 2H and 4H wells. They are monitoring the 5.5 x 9.625 casing annulus. There is currently 450 psi on it while the frac is occuring on the 2h well. |
1550842056 | 2019-02-21 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | The purpose of my inspection was a status check on drilling operations. During my inspection Pioneer 77 was at a measured depth of 13258 feet within the lateral section of the 8.5-inch diameter production borehole. The kick off point was at 9005 feet and the landing point was at 10261 feet. An 8.375-inch diameter bit was used from 8917 feet to 10355 feet and the bit was tripped from hole and replaced with the 8.5-inch diameter bit. I spoke with the Ascent company man on location, Mark Smith, and he stated that the rig was down due to top drive issues but when they make repairs and continue drilling, they plan to reach a total measured depth of 21808 feet. The 5.5-inch diameter production casing was evaluated on the pipe racks. |
