1050355647 2019-05-06 Casing String Witnessed No Violations On the day of my inspection I witnessed Patterson 571 has reached a total depth of 24881 feet with an 8.5 inch diameter hole. Mud weight is 11.4 ppg. Franks International is on location running production casing. This production string is a split string. The curve and lateral portion of the casing is 5.5 inch diameter, p-110, and 20#/ft, ran from 24850 to 7115 feet. From 7115 to surface, they ran 6 inch diameter casing, p-110, and 25.5 #/ft. 9.625 inch diameter casing was set at 7086 feet. The 12.25 inch diameter hole was drilled to 7127 feet. Kick off point was 7140 feet and curve was landed at 8175 feet. All depths are based off of a 25 foot rig KB. Halliburton will be onsite late tonight to cement this string.
1554067713 2019-03-31 Casing String Witnessed No Violations On the day of my inspection I witnessed the mine string cement job. Patterson 571 drilled a 24 inch diameter open hole to a depth of 585 feet. Previous casing set and cemented was 30 inch diameter conductor casing to a depth of 120 feet ground level. Wyoming casing ran 583 feet of 18.625 inch diameter casing, j-55, 87.5 lbs/foot, with 3 foot stick up. Shoe track is 43 feet long. Cement Baskets were set at 490 feet. Coal encountered at 510-525 feet. Halliburton was onsite with 1165 sacks of class H cement. Cement weighed with mudscale at 16.8 ppg and yield of 1.096. 50% excess ran in open hole. Cement displaced with 166 barrels of fresh water. 30 barrels of gel pumped ahead of cement. 47 barrels of cement returned to surface. All depths are based of of rig KB of 25 feet unless otherwise noted.
1554187728 2019-04-01 Casing String Witnessed No Violations On the day of my inspection I witnessed the intermediate casing cement job. Patterson 571 drilled a 17.5 inch diameter open hole to a depth of 1615 feet. Previous casing set and cemented was 18.625 inch diameter mine string to a depth of 580 feet. Wyoming casing ran 1599 feet of 13.375 inch diameter casing, j-55, 54.5 lbs/foot, with 4 foot stick up. Casing was centralized. Shoe track is 44 feet long. Halliburton was onsite with 1280 sacks of class A cement. Cement weighed with mudscale at 15.8 ppg and yield of 1.196. 50% excess ran in open hole. 30 barrels of gel pumped ahead of cement. No cement returned to surface. Job locked up 50 barrels into the required 241 barrels of displacement. All depths are based on rig KB. Rig KB is 25 feet. John Melville from Encino said they will run a CBL to verify top of cement. Remedial cement work will be necessary.
1554348154 2019-04-03 Casing String Witnessed No Violations On the day of my inspection I witnessed the intermediate casing remedial cement job. Original job locked up 50 barrels into displacement. A CBL was ran over the 13.375 inch diameter casing. Encino perforated the casing at 840 feet kb. A cement retainer was placed at 761 feet inside of the casing. Rig stung into cement retainer with 2.875 inch diameter tubing and pumped two bottoms up. Halliburton pumped 620 sacks of Class A cement weighing 15.8 ppg and a yield of 1.196. Cement was pumped until it returned to surface. At that point Halliburton ceased mixing cement and pumped remainder of tank. Cement was then displaced with 17 barrels of fresh water. 25 barrels of cement returned to surface. On 4/4 Superintenant John Melville called in regards to pressure testing the casing. They are losing approximately 12% over 30 minutes. Management gave approval to continue drilling the 12.25 inch diameter section and run a DV tool and packer to ensure cement to surface on the 9.625 inch diameter casing.

2065440857 2019-04-24 Drill / Deepen / Reopen No Violations On the day of my inspection I witnessed Patterson 571 tag cement inside of the 9.625 inch diameter casing at 6898 feet KB. Float shoe is at 7086 feet KB. KB is 25 feet. The rig has 41 feet of rathole below the casing that they will clean up and run a formation integrity test (FIT). Company man Joe Foreste confirmed with me later in the evening that their FIT went well and that they would start drilling with 8.75 inch diameter bit.
