1467034525 2016-06-17 Production Wells No Violations I received a call from the landowner Mr. Edwards to inform me that a well was leaking gas near his home. When I arrived I found that there was a line leak near his home, that same leak is next to the road. I contacted Sound Energy and later had a call back from Mark Farnsworth. The well is venting H2S gas and has a leaking line within 15 ft. of Yager Rd. Mark said that he would shut the well in to correct the leak. He called for Sulfide Block so that it could be added to the well annulus due to the Hydrogen Sulfide gas. I was informed that the repair to the leaking line would be done on Monday. I contacted Inspector Zollars to inform him of the repairs and the potential H2S hazard . Inspector Zollars is to cover the remedial portion of the scheduled repairs while I am on vacation. I also called Supervisor Bear to update him on the H2S conditions and repair schedule.
1671798231 2016-06-27 Production Wells No Violations I returned today to check for any reading of H2S gas with a new meter. I did not record a reading even though it was a low pressure day with no wind and high humidity.
1907592316 2016-06-20 Production Wells No Violations I am on site today to witness the remediation of a gas leak to resolve Complaint No 5355. On 6/17/2016 landowner Matt Edwards called the Uniontown office and stated that there was a gas leak by the tank battery and that the odor was becoming an issue. The complaint was then referred to inspector Mark Moreland, who called Bruce Levengood (Owner/operator) and informed him of the issue. Bruce stated he would have the leak fixed on Monday. Mark then called me and told me to witness the remediation of the leak. On the day of my inspection I witnessed sound energy employees on site with a mini excavator, which was used to dig up the gas line. After the line was dug up and a patch was placed where the leak was occurring. The ground was then restored back. During my inspection I did not encounter any H2S.
