2136016696 2016-02-24 Production Wells No Violations Inspection response to complaint # 5259. Upon inspection the following was observed at the well head- the well is equipped with a tubing head and casing head with the production flow line valve in the open position. Addressing the production facility and equipment- a total of (8) production tanks are present along with 3 vertical sand trap separators all located inside a polymer lined metal containment dike area. Also on location is 3 gas processing units processing the fluid from the 3 existing wells on location. Supporting the production facility is a low pressure vapor recovery system that is supported by a vapor recover burner system that is on the day of my inspection operating, with the vapor recovery ignition stack found to be located at a coordinates of 39.98900 x 81.38609. Addressing the complaint- On the day of my inspection the wind is noted to be coming from the East and the residence of the individual at 61100 Buzz Kirk Lane does lie a measured distance of 2600 approximately due West and downwind of the well pad. The coordinates for the home is 39.98609 x 81.39547. On this day I did contact a Blake Roush with PDC Energy at 970-260-7028 and inform Him that the landowner identified as Lee Ann Rudd has filed a complaint indicating she is getting a caustic smell during the evening hours inside Her home with the strongest odor between 1:30am and 2:00am. Mr. Roush Indicated the company would follow up on the issue. No compliance issues were present the well pad on the day of my inspection and no gas reading were detected with my meter in the area of the residence or well pad.
