A domestic gas service with two regulators and an open valve was attached to the 4.5 inch diameter casing. Gas could be heard escaping from near the packing on the 8.625 inch diameter casing head. While utilizing the Industrial Scientific Ventis Pro 4 gas detector, Hydrogen Sulfide and LEL recorded as zeros.

The water which was present near the slips on the 8.625 inch diameter wellhead and the 4.5 inch diameter casing had evaporated and a strong smell of gas was present. Readings were taken with ODNR Honeywell PhD6 meter revealing a LEL of 10 and no Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) detected. Also utilizing ODNR Tango H2S detector revealed no H2S was detected. The distance from the gas combustor on the 34059244820000 Betts 2H to the wellhead is 130 feet. Production equipment included a 210 barrel tank and a horizontal separator all within an earthen dike. Owner/Operator shall make necessary repairs to well to prevent the escape of gas.

I received a call from Howard Harrop on 12/18/17, who believes the leak is coming from the stem on a ball valve and also was able to check the pressure on the well at 260 pounds per square inch. He stated that he would relay information to the receiver and to make repairs a rig would have to come in.
