BWS ran 1.5 inch tubing to 5025 feet. Petroset Cementing was on site and pumped a 30 sack 278 foot Class A Clinton plug from 5050 feet to 4762 feet. BWS tripped tubing to 3650 and Petroset pumped a 75 sack 300 foot Class A Big Lime plug from 3650 to 3350 feet. BWS tripped tubing out and will rip 4.5 inch casing Monday. |
0456268838 | 2015-08-20 | Production Wells | Violations Noted | On the day of my inspection following up on Complaint ID #5102, I witnessed the production equipment included a 100bbl tank and vertical separator. The well was equipped with 8.625 inch casing, 4.5 inch casing, 2.375 inch tubing, rods and a pumping unit powered by electricity with 1 of 2 valves open on the tubing. A 10 foot by 22 foot area of oil contamination was present around the wellhead and under the pumping unit platform. I placed call to Jerry Reeves of DA Waldron & Assoc. and stated that contamination was present and the current plug permit expires on 12/3/15. The well is surrounded by swampland and is approximately 500 feet from Yoker Creek. Owner/Operator shall remove contamination, dispose of properly and replace with clean fill. Mr. Reeves stated they do plan on plugging well before permit expires. |
0592188044 | 2015-09-01 | Plug / Plug Back | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I witnessed the surface plug had dropped to 80 feet. I instructed operator to top off to surface and to notify me when ready so I could witness. Upon return to location I witnessed the surface plug was topped off and staying at surface along with casing being cut 30 inches below grade and a plate identifying the well. All residual contamination was removed from site and disposed of properly. |

1441023639 | 2015-08-31 | Plug / Plug Back | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I witnessed Bishop Well Service open the 4.5 inch casing, tripped in with their ripping tool and obtained telegraph. At 8:15AM, BWS successfully ripped the 4.5 inch casing at 2555 feet and began to trip out of the well as the Berea kicked off. BWS was unable to gain control the well and the tools were lifted out of the wellbore along with approximately 10bbls of oil being released. No injuries occurred and contamination was confined the area around the service rig. A swedge was placed on the casing to gain control and DA Waldron & Associates began clean up immediately. The service rig was rigged down, moved and oil was contained and picked up with a vacuum truck. Upon plugging completion and equipment removal any remaining residual contamination will be removed and properly disposed of and replaced with clean fill. Petroset Cementing was onsite and circulated the kick from the well and set a 35 sack 150 foot rip plug from 2515 feet to 2365 feet. Cement was displaced with 27.5bbls of fresh water. BWS pulled 35 joints of 4.5 inch casing and Petroset gained circulation and set a 50 sack 208 foot Class A Berea Plug from1394 feet to 1186 feet. Cement was displaced with 18.9bbls of fresh water.
