| 0288875315 | 2013-04-09 | Orphan | No Violations | Hanover Engineering crews are attempting to locate this well, which is believed to be located, or formerly located, within the property of the former John Marshal High School. To date, attempts to locate any kind of surface expression of the well have been unsuccessful. Hanover is utilizing Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) to survey several areas at the site. Initially, the crews are performing a sweep of the football field where a previous orphan well had been plugged, to assess whether a useful GPR profile is obtainable. Using previous information about the well, I assisted the crew in locating the former well in the football field. GPR scans of the surface, at the well location, were then performed. Some slight disturbance could be seen on the GPR scan. The crews will move to the school area to begin searching for the unknown well. I requested to be notified in the event that any suspect well locations are discovered. |
