0587474669 | 2014-12-12 | UrbanProduction Wells | No Violations | I inspected this producing unit as part of routine inspection activity. The wellhead and tank battery are located behind a single-family residence on Avery Rd. Fittings and connections at the linear rod pump and battery are secure and free from signs of leakage or problems. The interior of the secondary containment is clean and dry. Load-outs are plugged and gates are locked. Signage is present and the access road which extends east from the shared driveway is in good condition. There is an area east of the wellhead which is exhibiting ponded water and drainage is poor. The condition may have been extant prior to the presence of the well, but warrants monitoring. |
0638047129 | 2018-06-19 | UrbanProduction Wells | No Violations | I inspected this well as part of routine inspection. At the time of this inspection, the fittings and connections at the wellhead and battery were secure. I noted some oil staining around the base of the wellhead that had been mitigated with some sorbent material. There was no apparent on-going leak. I contacted Gonzoil and advised them that the sorbent material should be removed. Otherwise, I noted that tank lids were closed and secure. Load-lines were locked and secure. The chart record was active. Production reports were current. Enclosure gates were locked. Tank lids were closed and secure. I walked the areas surrounding the well and battery and found normal conditions of the extant greenscape. |

1380822067 | 2013-10-03 | UrbanProduction Wells | No Violations | The producing unit consists of a vertical piston unit at the wellhead and an aboveground storage tank (AST) battery. The battery is comprised of 2 140-barrel steel production tanks, a 50-barrel brine tank, and a separator unit. There is a Dominion metering run in the battery. The elements are enclosed in separate board-on-board enclosures. There is also a separately enclosed heater unit. There is adequate secondary containment. The signage is in good condition. Urban drilling process safety equipment is present. The load outs are locked and bull-plugged. |
1399393870 | 2014-05-06 | UrbanPreliminary Restoration | No Violations | The area around the unit has been restored. The pits have been filled, regraded, and seeded. The access road is gravel paved and the drainage appears to be properly managed and controlled. No signs of erosion (i.e. down cutting or gully formation). The wellhead is fitted with a linear rod pump which is in operation. The backside 8.625-inch casing is plumbed back to the production line. Pressure at the surface casing is reading 125 PSI. The tank battery load-outs are locked and bull-plugged. The secondary containment is present and in good condition. Spark arrestors, low-pressure relief valves, and carbon filters are present. Evergreen screening is present but appears to be not in accordance with the rule. I will check with Gonzoil to check on possible landowner waiver on this issue. ID placards are present as well as warning signage as required. The dedicated entry gate is locked and has appropriate signage. I observed some standing water near the wellhead area. I tested the water for the presence of brine with Quantab high and low range. The reading indicated less than 60 ppm chloride, which is indicative of fresh water and therefore normal runoff. I did not observe any other signs of leaks, spills or other problems. |
1414128322 | 2017-02-01 | UrbanProduction Wells | No Violations | I inspected this producing well as part of routine inspection activity. At the time of this inspection I observed the following: Access to the well and battery are afforded by an unpaved access road that extends beyond the paved driveway for the house at this parcel. The access road and areas in and around the well were mostly snow covered, but were in good condition with no signs of erosional deficits or degradation. The production system was comprised of a linear ord pump system and tank battery in separate board-on-board enclosures located in close proximity. The enclosure gates were closed and locked. The pump jack was in operation with no evidence of problems or leakage. I walked the interior of the tank battery enclosure and inspected the tanks and associated fittings, connections, and pipe runs. I did not observe any signs of leakage or spills. The tank load line valves were plugged and locked. The tank lids were closed. I walked the areas surrounding the wellhead and battery and found no evidence of impact or degradation. |
