0159207507 2014-08-21 UrbanProduction Wells No Violations I inspected this producing unit as part of routine inspection activity. The well was completed in 07/21/2004. The unit is producing and production reports are current. The well is located within the City of Independence municipal service complex. The producing unit is accessed via the entryway into the City of Independence materials storage area. The wellhead and battery are surrounded by stockpiles of gravel and other bulk material. The storage area is gravel-paved and level. Elements of the well consist of a production wellhead with standard valve assembly and mechanical plunger-lift system and aboveground storage tank (AST) battery in separate chain-link enclosures. The valve fittings, connections, and other production appurtenances appear to be well maintained and are free from signs of leakage or other problems. The battery is comprised of 2 steel 140-barrel production tanks, 2 50-barrel steel brine tanks, and 2 separator units. The battery is shared with the #2-1827 unit. Spacing from well to battery, and spacing of elements within the battery meet regulations. The load-outs are bull-plugged. There is secondary containment at the battery and the interior areas are dry. I did not observe any signs or evidence of leakage, spills, or problems. Unit identification placards are present at both the battery and wellhead and are in good condition. I observed no issues or problems requiring attention at the time of my inspection.

At the time of this inspection, I observed the following: The gravel-paved shared access road to the wellhead and battery was dry, and in good condition. The wellhead plunger-lift system was in operation. The fittings and connections were secure. Secondary containment at the battery was intact and dry. The enclosure gates were locked. The tank lids were closed and secure. The battery is shared with the #2-1827 well located north of the battery. I walked the areas around the well and battery and found the natural areas and greenscape to be free from signs of impact. Production reports were current and there were no other problems or issues noted.
