Inspections Performed

Inspection ID Inspection Date Inspection Type Inspection Result Inspection Comments
1476727581 2016-10-17 Orphan No Violations I inspected this location pursuant to a request from the property seller for an evaluation as part of a pending sale. Existing records indicate the well was plugged and abandoned in 1996 by Moore Well Service. At the time of this inspection, I observed the following: a two-inch diameter PVC vent stack located at the rear portion of the existing house. The vent was affixed to the exterior and terminated approximately 12 feet above grade. There was no other visible elements of the former well. The homeowner indicated that the former well was buried near the back entry door. I surveyed the top of the vent stack with hand-held four-gas meter and did not observe any detectable levels of combustible gas. I advised that any further evaluation of the former well would require exposure of the vault well.
