Inspection Data

Inspections Performed

Inspection ID Inspection Date Inspection Type Inspection Result Inspection Comments
-1432622358 2018-4-18 0:00: PW No Violations 1.30
1432622358 2018-04-18 Production Wells No Violations On the day of m y inspection I found that the well was equipped with a natural gas powered pumping unit. The engine, drive belts and fuel line were intact. The flow lines were connected and the valves were open. Identification was written on the unit, and there were no leaks around the wellhead. The production equipment consisted of one 210 barrel steel tank in an earthen dike that was shared by the number 6 and 7 wells. There was one 100 barrel steel tank in the same dike that was labeled for the number 3 well. There was also one 100 barrel steel water tank in a separate dike. The identification signs had not been updated to reflect the current owner. The pumper, Jeff Butler, happened to drive by while I was there. I asked him about some sawdust in the dikes and some low areas where soil had been removed. There was a small pool of oil under the union on one of the flow lines. Jeff said that the union had failed and they had some oil released in the dike. Jeff said that they removed the affected soil and tried to build the dike up with new clean material. Jeff covered the oil with peat and he tightened the union.
