0932531673 2017-03-22 Production Wells No Violations On the day of my inspection I found that the well was equipped with a natural gas powered pumping unit. The engine, drive belts and fuel line were intact. The flow lines were connected at the wellhead and the valves were open. There were no leaks at the wellhead and an identification sign was posted on the pumping unit. The tank battery consisted of one 100 barrel steel tank in an earthen dike and one 20 barrel poly tank in a separate dike. The top of 20 barrel poly tank was cracked open and the tank was full. The fluid was 3 to 4 inches from breeching the crack. I called Dale Smith and left a message to have the tank removed.
1026681560 2018-10-24 Production Wells No Violations I was contacted by landowner mike Haumschild to request an inspection on this well. Mike claimed that the well was not being produced. On the day of my inspection I found that the engine and drive belts had been removed from the pumping unit. The casing valve was open to the fuel line for the engine. The housing for the valve control on the tubing nipple was cracked and I could not tell whether the valve was open or closed. I did hear gas hissing from the wellhead where the tubing seats into the production casing. There was a new 100 barrel steel tank and a new 50 barrel poly tank in the dike. The lines were all connected from the wellhead to the tanks. Both tanks were empty. Proper identification was posted at the wellhead and on the steel tank. M&R Investments reported 380 MCF gas production in 2017. I called the field supervisor Dale Smith to ask wat he knew about the well. Dale said that it would not pump and they took the motor off this summer for another well. Dale said that they had the valve open so the landowner could still get house gas, but the well needs to be serviced. He said that he has not put in a service request yet, but he would get one put in next Monday for a service rig. I called Mr. Haumschild back to let him know what I found out. He said that he does have wood as a back up for his heat and he was going to convert his stove and furnace to propane.
1055375151 2017-03-30 Production Wells No Violations On the day of my inspection I found that the cracked poly tank had been drained and moved out of the dike. The tank was staged next to the access road. There was also a new poly tank staged next to the dike. I found no signs of contamination in the dike where the tank had been set.
