0171814035 2016-01-05 Field Inspected, Well Not Found No Violations On the day of my inspection I followed a vehicle width access road in the general direction of the well point as it plotted in Topo 9. I crossed an ag field and re-acquired the access road at the edge of a forested area. I searched the area in a 100 meter radius of the given GPS coordinates. I did not find an oil & gas well. I did find a large depression that resembled a possible old drilling/plugging pit. And I found two rusted steel buckets. I also found two white PVC markers, possible gas line markers. There are no production records for this well and there is no phone number for the listed owner. I searched the well cards stored in RBDMS and found a geologists report from 1966 stating that the porosity indicates that the well wo9uld be unproductive and recommended plugging. I also found a plugging permit issued in 1968. There are no other records for the well.
