1017734267 | 2015-11-12 | Production Wells | No Violations | I was on location to witness the cleanup of an oil spill that has occurred at this well location. It is estimated that the bottom of the 210bbl tank either had a bottom blow out or valve break loose and 130bbls of fluid, 70 which were oil, ran from the tank battery. The tank battery had a dike but an edge was eroded away by water allowing the oil leave the dike. The oil flowed down the lease road into the field and into the drain tile. The drain tile then lead to an ephemeral stream where it flowed through woods to an area near Hartley Rd. There a siphon dam was installed to stop the flow of oil. The spill occurred sometime between 12 noon on 11-11-15 and 12 noon today. The spill was discovered by a landowner at 1:15pm today. Approximately 40bbls of oil have been recovered at this point from the field. OEPA Onside Coordinator Bart Ray and Dorfman employees are on location cleaning up the spill. Cleanup will continue for the next few days |
1412617513 | 2014-10-01 | Production Wells | No Violations | I was on site to conduct a status check. Identification was posted on the tank battery and wellhead. The tank battery consists of one 210 bbl production tank, a 100 bbl brine tank, and one vertical separator. The tank valves are plugged. There is a meter box with a current chart showing production. The dike is present and in good repair. The wellhead is equipped with an electric pumpjack. The access road and site are stable. |
1516104604 | 2018-01-02 | Production Wells | No Violations | The purpose of my inspection was to conduct a status check on well #2-1675. RBDMS indicated that production was current. Access to the well and tank battery was snow covered but drivable. A small earthen dike that was free of fluid was present around the well head. The 8.625 well head was below grade. The 4.5 production casing was equipped with an electric pump jack. Production valves were in the open position. No leaks were observed. Stains consistent with a legacy operation were present. A stable earthen dike that was free of fluid was present around the tank battery. Equipment within the dike consisted of one (1) vertical separator, one (1) 210 bbl production tank and one (1) 100 bbl brine tank. The separator remained in good repair with a current 31 day chart. The production remained in good repair. Valves were closed and plugged. The hatch lid was closed. The brine tank remained in good repair. The inlet valve was closed. No violations were observed during this inspection. |
1699015987 | 2008-09-05 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | Inspection revealed that Advent Drilling is running conductor pipe at this time. The daylight driller ( Kenny Swoger ) advised that they were shutting down for repairs on the air package after they get conductor set. No violations at this time. |
1883685460 | 2008-10-21 | Production Wells | No Violations | Inspection revealed that the drilling pits have been closed and the location has been graded. No violations at this time. |
