0973029606 2017-03-15 Production Wells No Violations The purpose of my inspection was to conduct a status check on well #2-1409. A review of RBDMS indicates the Owner is current with reporting production. The lease road was stable and drivable. The well location was partially snow covered and drivable. Correct and legible identification was posted at the well head. The 8.625 well head was at grade. The 4.5 production casing was equipped with a plunger lift assembly. Production valves were in the open position. No pressure gauges were present. No audible or visual leaks were detected. An earthen dike was present around the tank battery. The dike was worn in the Northwest corner. Production equipment within the dike consisted of one (1) horizontal separator and one (1) 100 bbl production tank. The separator was in good repair. No audible or visual leaks were detected. A current 16 day chart was in the meter house. Correct and legible identification was present on the production tank body. The body of the tank had holes in several locations. I did not observe any production fluid to have leaked from the holes. The load line and drain line valves were closed and plugged. The hatch lid was closed. I contacted Enervest field manager Joe Teppert to have the dike evaluated and to repair or replace the production tank to prevent a release.
1516586701 2017-04-06 Production Wells No Violations The purpose of my inspection was to document the status of the production tank replacement. I spoke with Enervest Field Superintendent Joe Teppert on 3/23/2017. Mr. Teppert stated that the tank at this location had been replaced. At the time of my follow-up inspection, the former tank had been replaced with a new 100 bbl tank. Correct and legible identification was placed on the tank body. The drain line valve was closed and plugged. A ground strap was also present. The bottom drain bung contained a plug. The load line valve was closed and plugged. The hatch lid was closed. No further action is necessary.
