2042840466 2013-07-18 Production Wells No Violations While at the Rosenberger site for a flow line leak repair for the Rosenberger #2 well, I conducted a routine inspection. The Rosenberger #1 is a plunger-lift well. The tank battery consists of a 100 bbl steel production storage tank, with padlocks on both the brine and oil drain lines. There is a horizontal separator with a gas meter. There is a below-grade concrete brine storage tank. The dike surrounding the tank battery is in good repair. The drain line from production tank to the brine tank was plumbed into the brine tank. No violations were noted.
2109301471 2017-05-22 Production Wells No Violations The purpose of my inspection was to document the status of well #2-0930. A review of RBDMS indicates the owner is current with reporting production. Well access was through a farm driveway. The well was located in an agricultural field and was stable. Correct and legible identification was present on the well head. The 8.625 casing head was below grade. The 4.5 production casing was equipped with a plunger lift assembly. The well owner had placed a casing patch on the 4.5 production casing and a second patch on the production tubing. Production valves were in the closed position. At the time of my inspection I observed the tubing patch leaking gas. A domestic supply connection was present. An earthen dike was present around the production equipment. The dike was stable and free of fluid. Equipment within the dike consisted of one (1) horizontal separator, one (1) 100 bbl production tank and one (1) concrete brine vault. The separator remained in good repair. Minor production fluid staining consistent with legacy operations was present near some flow line unions. Correct and legible identification was present on the production tank body. The tank remained free of holes or leaks. The load line valve was closed, locked and plugged. The drain line valve was closed and plumbed to the brine vault. The hatch lid was closed. The brine vault was holding fluid with approximately 18 inches of free board. No sign of overfilling was present. I called and informed Atlas Field Superintendent Rusty Morrison of the leaking tubing patch. Mr. Morrison stated that he would have the lease operator repair the leak as soon as possible. He continued that the well was scheduled to be turned back into production on 6/2/2017. I will schedule a follow-up inspection to confirm the leak has been repaired.
