0834279698 2017-01-17 Production Wells No Violations The purpose of my inspection was to conduct a status check on well #2-0823. A review of RBDMS indicates the Owner is current with reporting production. Lease access to the well and tank battery is through an agricultural field road. The well location is within an agricultural field that is stable. Correct and legible identification was posted at the tank battery. The 8.625 casing head was below grade. A riser was present and open to atmosphere. The 4.5 production casing was equipped with an electric pump jack. A production casing pressure gauges indicated 60 psi. A tubing pressure gauge indicated 80 psi. Production valves were in the open position. No audible or visual leaks were detected. The V drive belt(s) connecting the eclectic motor to the crank were not attached. The electric was disconnected. The polishing rod did not exhibit evidence of recent use. Equipment on location consisted of one (1) horizontal separator, one (1) 210 bbl production tank and one (1) concrete brine vault. A stable earthen dike was present around the production tank and vault. The separator was positioned outside of the dike. The separator remained in good repair. No audible or visual leaks were detected. A current production chart was in the meter house. Correct and legible identification was present on the tank body. The production tank remained in good repair. No leaks were detected on the body. The load line was closed and plugged. The drain line valve was closed and plumbed out to the brine vault. The hatch lid was closed. The exposed area of the brine vault was in good repair. No evidence of overfilling existed. At the time of my inspection, the vault was mostly empty. No violations were observed during this inspection.
