Inspections Performed

Inspection ID Inspection Date Inspection Type Inspection Result Inspection Comments
-1209683949 2017-7-12 0:00: PW No Violations
1209683949 2017-07-12 Production Wells No Violations The purpose of my inspection was to document the improvement to the earthen dike present around the production equipment for well #2-0751. The owner built up the dike walls to sufficiently contain a release. The dike was stable and was holding minimal freshwater from recent precipitation. No further action is necessary.
1490875974 2017-03-20 Production Wells No Violations The purpose of my inspection was to conduct a status check on well #2-0751. A review of RBDMS indicates the Owner is current with reporting production. Lease access was through a farm and residential driveway that was stable and drivable. The well location was stable with well-established vegetation. No identification was present at the well head. The 8.625 well head was below grade. A side port riser was plumbed above grade and contained a plug. The 4.5 production casing was equipped with a plunger lift assembly. Production valves were in the open position. A casing pressure gauge indicated 235 psi. A tubing pressure gauge indicated 160 psi. No audible or visual leaks were detected. A domestic supply connection was present. Production equipment on location consisted of one (1) horizontal separator, one (1) 100 bbl production tank, and one (1) buried concrete brine vault. The separator did not contain a meter box. The interior pancake valve was leaking during operation. No fluid was pooling or migrating outside of the separator. A valve port on the pressure vessel was closed and missing a bull plug. Several of the flow line connections on the separator showed evidence of production fluid leaking from the connection. No fluid was pooling or migrating away from the separator. An worn earthen dike present was around the production tank and brine vault. Correct and legible identification was present on the tank body. The tank remained in good repair with no holes or leaks. The load line valve was plugged. The drain line valve was closed and plumbed out to the brine vault. The heater tube was plugged. The hatch lid was closed. The brine vault remained in good repair. A limited amount of fluid was observed inside the vault. No evidence of overflow existed. A separate meter box with a current production chart was present along the lease road prior to the tank battery and well head. While on location I called and spoke with lease operator Jeremy
