Inspection Data

Inspections Performed

Inspection ID Inspection Date Inspection Type Inspection Result Inspection Comments
1527670774 2017-11-08 Production Wells No Violations The purpose of my inspection was to conduct a status check on well #2-0747. A review of RBDMS indicated the owner was current with reported production. Access and the locations were stable and drivable. The 8.625 well head was above grade and closed to atmosphere. The 4.5 production casing was equipped with a plunger lift assembly. Production valves were closed. No leaks were observed. Staining consistent with a legacy operation was present. A domestic supply connection was present. The tank battery consisted of one horizontal separator located outside of containment. The separator remained in good repair. No leaks were observed. The meter house contained an expired chart. A stable earthen dike that was free of fluid was present around the 100 bbl production tank and brine vault. The production tank contained correct identification. Production fluid staining was present on the ground at the base of the tank. The fluid was not live or fresh. Valves were closed and plugged. The vault remained in good repair above grade and was holding fluid with free board. While on location I called and spoke with Northwood field superintendent Chris Boles concerning the status of the well. Mr. Boles reported that the well was currently only used for domestic supply. He continued that he was not sure if the well was scheduled for workover. I also discussed the condition of the tank with Mr. Boles. Mr. Boles stated that he would have Chris Schofield evaluate the tank and determine if the tank contained any fluid. Mr. Boles stated he would contact Inspector Frye once he had more information and a report back from Mr. Schofield. I will schedule to contact Mr. Boles in 30 days unless contacted sooner.
