1483992473 2017-01-09 Production Wells No Violations The purpose of my inspection was to conduct a status check of well # 2-0728. RBDMS indicates the Owner is current with reporting production. Lease access is through a residential driveway leading to grassland. The well and tank battery are within view of each other. The well location is stable with well-established vegetation. Identification is not present at the wellhead. The 8.625 well head is below grade. The 4.5 production casing is equipped with an electric powered pump jack. No audible or visual leaks were identified. A domestic supply connection was present. The tank battery is shared with #2-0851. Production equipment is contained within an earthen dike that is stable with well-established vegetation. An area on the South side of the dike is worn and creates a clear and present hazard in the event of an equipment failure. Equipment within the dike consists of one (1) diaphragm meter one (1) 210 bbl production tank and one (1) 1200 gallon poly brine tank.. The meter remained in good repair. No audible or visual leaks were identified. The production tank contained an identification sign with illegible identification. No leaks were identified on the tank body. The load line valve was closed with a pup joint extension to facilitate loading. The pup joint contained a valve in the closed position and was plugged. The hatch lid was closed. The poly brine tank remained in good repair with no detected cracks or leaks. The tank was standalone and had no plumbing in or out. A plug was present in the bottom of the tank. The tank contained approximately 1000 gallon of fluid according to the graduated marks on the tank side. I met owner Bruce Sanor at an offset well and communicated the need to improve the dike to fully contain a release and to update the identification to reflect both wells being produced into the tank battery. Mr. Sanor acknowledged the illegible identification and stated he would have the sign updated within a week and would i
