Inspection Data

Inspections Performed

Inspection ID Inspection Date Inspection Type Inspection Result Inspection Comments
1253479121 2016-12-29 Production Wells No Violations The purpose of my inspection was to follow up on action being performed by the Owner to improve an insufficient dike. I had received a call from contract lease operator Jamie Corsing indicated the work had been completed. During my follow-up inspection I observed that the dike had been improved and was sufficient for containment. No further action is necessary.
1991658830 2016-11-08 Production Wells No Violations The purpose of my inspection was to conduct a status check on well # 2-0588. A review of RBDMS indicates the operator is current with reporting production. Access to the well and tank battery are through a gated farm road that is in good repair. Correct and legible identification are present. The 8.625casing head is below grade. The 4.5 production casing is equipped with an electric pump jack that was operating during the inspection. No audible or visual leaks were observed. A domestic supply connection is present between the well head and tank battery. An earthen dike remains around the production equipment but is worn due to livestock. The earthen dike is insufficient for containment and due to proximity to surface waters presents a clear and present hazard. Production equipment within the dike consists of one (1) vertical separator and three (3) 100 bbl production tanks. The separator remained in good repair with no audible or visual leaks. A separate meter house was present and contained a current production chart. The production tanks remained in good repair with no leaks. The load line valves were closed and plugged. The hatch lids were closed. I contacted contract lease operator Jamie Corsing concerning the dike. Mr. Corsing stated that he would schedule a contractor to improve the dike walls to sufficiently contain a release.
2047021793 2014-09-02 Production Wells No Violations I was on site to conduct a status check. Identification was posted on the tank battery and wellhead. The tank battery consists of two 100 bbl production tank, one 100 bbl brine tank, and one horizontal separator. The tank valves are plugged. There is a meter box with a current chart showing production. The dike is present. The wellhead is equipped with an electric pumpjack. The drive belt on the pumpjack was broken at the time of inspection and the electric pump was running. I called Jamie Corsing of G&O Resources and informed him of the broken belt. He indicated he would be at the well later in the day to fix the belt. The access road and site are stable.
